We have had an exciting start to the term in the Library, with a new reading tree that has sprouted over the holidays. The children have been enjoying watching the tree grow and are looking forward to being able to cut out their own leaf to add to the tree.
There are now several new spaces, including our new Young Adult section that accommodates older children. We have also been fortunate to have the opportunity to showcase some of the student’s most recent artwork, which has really brightened up our space.
The Library is now open for children to use at lunchtime Monday-Thursday, with quiet reading, Lego, and board games proving to be very popular.
HELP NEEDED
We have recently purchased some new reading books for the Junior Unit that need covering. If there are any parent helpers that can spare an hour or so before school pick-up to assist with covering these books, please pop into the Library from 1.45 pm Monday (31/10) or Tuesday (1/11).
Thank you
