This week it was fantastic to welcome back the CPS community to another Learning Journey after missing out in 2020, and from all accounts, all involved were very happy to celebrate the occasion.
It was wonderful to see so many families attend this event and have the opportunity to share your children’s learning experiences and see what a rich and engaging learning environment your children have at CPS. It was also great to see so many parents get involved with some of the learning activities – there was even a bit of fierce competition between the children and their parents when it came to some of the problem-solving activities. Great fun!
So we send a massive thank you to the families and friends who supported the event. The teachers and support staff put their hearts and souls into providing our students with engaging and relevant learning so it is great to provide an opportunity to share that, as well as all the amazing learning our students are achieving, with our community.
Thanks also go out to the families who took on the sausage sizzle challenge line! We really do appreciate your investment. It was great to work with community partners for a couple of great causes. We made an amazing $1 032.00, which will be shared with The Lions, North Beach and our Solar Buddy program at school.
Final thanks go out to the Lions Club, North Beach for their expertise, support and equipment for the sausage sizzle – we couldn’t of done it without them! And Christine Tonkin, Churclands MLA, for the donation of the sausages and buns.
