Another Big Music Night has come and gone. This year was a raging success for everyone who performed and was enjoyed by 400 audience members at the Newman College Auditorium.
The record is now held by Tiya, who was involved in 9 acts on the night, but, hey, everyone was equally important, adding their voice or instrument into the huge musical showcase that all Churchlands children can be immensely proud of.
It was especially great to see children from the audience come on stage for the finale Positive and Strong, singing and using AUSLAN signs.
Thank you to the fabulous staff helpers behind the scenes:
- Instrumental Music teachers for teaching and directing on the night
- Past music team Year 7’s for their backstage work
- The music team for their performances and Emceeing the whole night
- Year 6 parents for organising the supper
- Staff at Newman College for operating equipment and use of their venue and for the music, which we all need…. ‘cause it’s the light!
Thanks
