I would just like to take the time to thank both the students and teachers for their maturity and engagement when participating in this year’s NAPLANs. All classrooms were cool, calm and collected as we completed the planned timetable this week.
Please note that due to the number of students away due to COVID, ACARA has authorised an extended ‘catch-up’ period. Next week, students who return to school will be provided time each morning to complete as many missed assessments as possible.
If there are any queries regarding the catch-up sessions, please do not hesitate to contact me in the office.
Luke Johnson
Deputy Principal
NAPLAN 2022 is right around the corner, happening in Week 3. Parents of students who are in Years 3 and 5, this is your last chance to make sure your children’s iPads are reading to go, with the updated NAP Locked Browser app and working headphones. Please check these components before the end of this week and notify your child’s teacher if any support is required.
Please note we have slightly altered the NAPLAN assessment timetable which is attached.
The Term 1 NAPLAN practice test has been scheduled for this week, Thursday, 24th of March. This test requires that all students in Years 3 and 5 have their iPads ready. This includes:
