What’s happening in the Art Studio – Week 5

The year three and four students have been exploring Wild Things and are developing their hand puppets with heaps of madcap character and raucous wildness. We can’t wait to bring them to life with Mrs Idle in Drama.

Room 13 created encouraging banners to use during the Cross-Country Event on Wednesday. Can you guess my faction?

Be terrified by these tremendous Indominus Rex from Jurassic Park by Room 10. It was challenging and complicated, but aren’t they successful?

We followed a great Youtube guide from Art for Kids. This family offers so many different drawing tutorials in a positive upbeat manner.

National Reconciliation Week is from today, 27 May to 3 June 2022 and it is a time for all Australians to learn about shared histories, cultures and achievements and gain knowledge, skills and understanding to benefit and contribute to reconciliation between aboriginal and non-aboriginal people. This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme is ‘Be Brave, Make Change’ It’s a challenge to all Australians to be brave, and tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation so we can make change for the benefit of all Australians. Here are art-based activities taking place around Perth and Fremantle that your family might enjoy this weekend. I would love to see a couple of photos and brief comments from your children on Seesaw to share their experiences.
