Next Friday, 16 students from years 3-6 will spend the day at Churchlands Senior High School competing in the annual Keen2STEAM interschool challenge against 5 other primary schools. Working collaboratively in groups of 4, they will learn about climate change and its connection to fires and floods in Australia. Through this lens, they will use their creative and critical thinking skills to design, problem solve and create solutions in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths activities throughout the day. We wish them the very best!
Please note that parents of students attending are welcome to watch on the day.
Stay tuned for our next newsletter to see how the team went, and to share in the wonderful learning and action of the day!
