Library News – Term 3 Week 7

Book Week

What a fantastic Book Week we’ve had here at the library! Our week was filled with the magic of literature and the joy of reading. It was delightful to start the week with our Book Week Dress-Up Parade and it was truly wonderful to see so many imaginative costumes inspired by beloved characters. From Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf to Captain Underpants, participants brought their favorite literary figures to life. Special thanks to everyone who took part and made the parade a vibrant celebration of creativity and literature and to all parents for their hard work in helping create such wonderful costumes.

Golden Tickets

Book Week saw an influx of Golden Ticket winners. Congratulations to all the lucky winners, it was delightful to see the excitement and surprise as readers discovered their Golden Tickets. There are still plenty of Golden Tickets left to be found, so keep reading.

Premier’s Reading Challenge 2024

We are now in the final week of the Premier’s Reading Challenge. Remember to log all of your books in this last week. There are currently 44 students that have completed the challenge, reading the required 12 books, and there are many more that are very close!  An amazing effort, well done to those that are participating. Collectively we have read 1,661books and I am very excited to see what our final total will be!
