Next Friday, 17 August Churchlands Primary School is hosting its annual STEAM Expo Open Day. STEAM incorporates outcomes from science, technology, engineering, art and maths.
Parents and community members will be invited to attend the Expo to view a variety of creative projects completed by our students. Classroom doors will be open from 2.20pm until 2.50pm, Friday 17th of August.
This year our STEAM investigations are aligned with the National Science Week theme of Game Changers and Change Makers. Our learning will focus on the scientists, engineers, technologists, mathematicians, designers and innovators of the past and present who have made, and are making, great improvements to the way we live.
The Expo will complete a fantastic week of science and STEAM learning that includes special lunch time activities, a dress-up day, and special guest speakers.
Students are being asked to please bring a gold coin donation on Friday as proceeds collected will be going to Churchlands Primary School’s World Vision child.
It promises to be a fantastic week.
Hope to see you there!
