CPS BYOD Program – Information Evening – Goals, Preparation and the Screentime App for parent support

2025 Year One families, along with any new parents to the school, are invited to our annual iPad Information session on in the library at 7pm, Tuesday, November 19.

The session will include a “Parents Crash Course in using the Screentime application” evening workshop. “Screen Time — lets you know how much time you and your kids spend on apps, websites, and more. This way, you can make more informed decisions about how you use your devices, and set limits if you’d like to.” – Apple.com

Please join Thanh Nguyen (School board member and parent) and Luke Johnson (Deputy Principal) to get a rundown on the goals of the program, some things to consider when preparing your familiy and a ‘Crash Course in using the Screentime app’. The course will run through the basics of the app and how it can assist managing family iPad usage at home.

Please note that the Screentime app comes as part of the native suite but is only available on devices with iOS 12 and above.
