CPS Frog Pond Projects - Year 1

Motorbike Frog Habitat & Life Cycle

As part of their Biological Science and Design Technology learning, the Year 1 students researched information about the Motorbike Frog, an inhabitant of the local Herdsman Lake, and hopefully a soon-to-be resident of the CPS Frog Pond.

Working in pairs, students learned about the features of the Motorbike frog and its habitat. Follwing the Design process they designed models of the species and its habitat and presented their learning in colourful, informative Book Creator publications, that were shared amoung the community.

Using their digital technology skills and knowledge, students also created entertaining and accurate accounts of the Motorbike Frog’s life-cycle as a stop motion animation!
