IMSS program, VOICE Senior Choir, CPS String Orchestra and HOTNOTES Orchestra 2025
The music program is looking to have another fabulous and diverse year at CPS. VOICE senior choir sign-up sheets are around the senior area and in the music room. Auditions for new year 5 and 6 students will start ASAP so we can commence rehearsals by Thursday week 3.
The IMSS program has 3 new teachers out of 6 so exciting times lay ahead for many music students. Offers for beginner instrumental students will come out early next week after a final testing of the new enrolments to our school.
- DOUBLE BASS lessons are on Tuesdays with Mrs Person
- BRASS lessons will be held on Wednesday with Mr Thompson
- VIOLIN and VIOLA lessons with Mr Read will also be held Wednesdays, as well as String Orchestra
- Thursday brings FLUTE from Ms Dixon and CLARINET from Mrs Cahill
- Finally Fridays are Cello lessons with Ms Moss
The IMSS teaching timetable for all instruments and string lesson times for yr 3-6 violin and viola is posted on the music room door.
HOTNOTES Orchestra sign ups and auditions will commence in week 2, looking to start Friday of week 3
